A park ready for a new chapter

Riverside Park has always been a go-to spot for locals, but the old paths, limited play areas, and outdated facilities made it less fun and tricky to get around. The city decided to freshen things up while keeping it a chill place for everyone nearby.

Improving the park without losing what makes it special

The update is all about making the park safer, greener, and easier to enjoy every day so everyone can have a blast. They’re fixing up the paths, planting new trees, adding comfy spots to sit, refreshing play areas, and making it easier to get around.

Key milestones

• Community design workshops completed (Q1 2026)

• Shoreline stabilization & drainage work completed (Q3 2026)

• Walking path & landscaping installation — in progress

• Final lighting & signage — upcoming soon for public enjoyment.
